Workshop: Introduction to Finding Grants – May 16

This workshop will be held in person at the Parkway Central Library.
Discover what funders are looking for in nonprofits seeking grants. During this workshop you will learn:
- Who funds nonprofits
- What funders want to know about organizations they are interested in funding
- How to identify potential funders and make the first approach
We will also do a demonstration of Foundation Directory Online, available to RFC patrons at the Parkway Central Library. Attendees are welcome to bring a laptop to explore Foundation Directory Online during or after the workshop.
Date and Time: Tuesday, May 16, 2023, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA (Business Resource and Innovation Center (BRIC), Ground Floor)
This workshop is part one in our three-part grant writing series. Join us for Introduction to Proposal Writing on Thursday, May 18 and for Virtual Intermediate Grant Writing on Tuesday, May 23.
This workshop is free but advance registration is required.
