Ellucian Foundation invites applications for 2023 PATH Scholarship Program

The Ellucian Foundation, established in 2020 by the higher education technology solutions provider Ellucian, invites applications for the 2023 Progress, Accomplishment, Thriving, Hope (PATH) Scholarship Program.

Now in its fourth year, the program awards grants to higher education institutions globally to support students facing economic hardship and educational disruptions. For 2023, the program is focused on providing grants to two-year public colleges in the United States and eligible higher education institutions in Australia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Ireland, Lebanon, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

Through the program, block grants will be awarded to higher education institutions in amounts of $10,000, $15,000, and $25,000 amounts. Institutions will then distribute the scholarships to students in financial need, with a maximum award of $1,500 per student. Students may use these funds to help cover items such as housing, tuition, and food.

The following types of higher education institutions are invited to apply: in the United States, public two-year institutions that are eligible to participate in the Federal Title IV Student aid programs (public two-year Minority Serving Institutions [MSIs] are strongly encouraged to apply); in Australia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Ireland, Lebanon, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, not-for-profit higher education institutions that are approved by the country’s ministry of higher education (or other national government ministry) to provide associate’s or bachelor’s degrees.

Applications for U.S. institutions will be accepted through May 12, 2023, and applications for eligible institutions outside the U.S. will be accepted through May 26, 2023.

For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Ellucian Foundation website.

Deadline: May 12, 2023
