Global Philanthropy Consulting invites applications from nonprofits for organizational capacity building training
Global Philanthropy Consulting invites applications for the Dr. Dorothy I. Height Scholarship Competition, named for Dr. Dorothy I. Height, who led the National Congress of Negro Women for decades and was one of the Big Six Pillars that anchored the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement. Dr. Height played a huge role in the longevity and leadership of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and was known for her intelligence, insightfulness, wisdom, and unparalleled gifts as an orator.
The competition will award two tax-exempt organizations with organizational capacity-building training from the Global Philanthropy Consulting Technical Assistance Curriculum or a training customized to meet their needs. The curriculum is based on 25years of experience and was created after conducting workshops and classes in the community, at state and national conferences, teaching at nonprofit management centers in Northern California, and directly serving NPOs.
Those historically excluded, disenfranchised, or isolated communities are especially encouraged to apply.
To be eligible, applicants must be tax-exempt as defined by section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4), with an annual budget max of $500,000.
To receive an application, applicants must send their Full Name, Title, Name of the Organization, and Tel. No., Email, and Address to globalphilanthropyconsulting@gmail.com. Applications will be sent to the most competitive, and two winners will be selected from this pool.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Global Philanthropy Consulting LinkedIn page.
Deadline: November 11, 2022
