Academic Community Impact Summit at TESU (For Trenton Area Organizations) – Oct 5

We are excited for the opportunity to bring together current and prospective Thomas Edison State University (TESU) students, community partners and local organizations to discuss how we can address community needs as part of TESU’s Academic Community Impact (ACI) program.
The ACI program has established offerings for students with hands-on opportunities to engage with area nonprofit organizations and assist in solving real-world problems through their course work.
Dr. Daniel Fidalgo Tomé, Community Impact Student Recruitment and Site Placement Specialist at TESU, oversees the program and knows that by working with community partners, students can connect their coursework in significant, tangible ways while they develop lasting reciprocal relationships and deepen their personal and professional civic identities.

We will be exploring ways to partner, sharing information about scholarship and grant opportunities and discussing professional development opportunities that Thomas Edison State University has to offer.
