Posted by Philadelphia Education Fund on August 30, 2022
Ring in a new school year and welcome Philadelphia’s new Superintendent, Dr. Tony Watlington!
September marks the return of PEF’s long-standing monthly conversation series, Education First Compact. As we look to the 2022-23 school year, come, listen, and engage in this intimate conversation with the new Superintendent of Philadelphia’s schools, Dr. Tony Watlington.
We’re thrilled to offer our own stop on Dr. Watlington’s listening tour! He’ll share his takeaways so far and his vision for our students, but the balance of the time will be hearing from you on how we can work together to strengthen education for all students. Moderated by Farah Jimenez, PEF President and CEO.
Date and Time: Thursday, September 1, 2022, 7:45 – 9:15 am
Location: National Constitution Center, F M Kirby Auditorium, 525 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
