Youth Summer Social Impact Institute – July 11
Posted by University of Pennsylvania on June 14, 2022
The Center for Social Impact Strategy at UPenn will be offering its free program for Philly-area high school students again this year. We would be grateful if you could share this opportunity with students and educators in your network.
We just opened up registration for the Youth Summer Social Impact Institute, and are spreading the word to friends and colleagues. This program is for young change-makers looking for skills and structure to help improve their communities and their world.
The program will run for 4 weeks beginning on Monday, July 25th, through live online 90-minute workshops on Mondays through Thursdays. It culminates in students’ creation of a working prototype and final capstone presentation on Friday, August 19th.
Students who complete the learning benchmarks and assignments will receive a certificate of completion from the Center for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania.
Students will get to know each other, learn a lot, cultivate community, collaborate on ideas to change the world, and have a lot of fun!
