Virtual Curriculum-to-Career Innovations Institute – May 6

The influences of globalization, racial inequities, and economic reshuffling have prompted new opportunities for institutions of higher education to reassert their roles as essential conduits for meaningful career preparedness. Co-directed by the American Association of Colleges & Universities (AAC&U) and IBM, the Curriculum-to-Career Innovations Institute supports campuses of all types to develop or enhance equitable, experiential, curriculum-based projects to prepare students for a range of career paths. Learn more about the goals of the Institute here. This semester-long virtual institute, August 11 – December 16, 2022, kicks-off August 11 & 12.
This semester-long virtual Institute’s sessions will revolve around four themes:
- Defining and Assessing Skills for Equitable Career Preparation
- Developing and Scaling Equitable High-Impact Experiences for Career Success
- Promoting and Supporting Interdisciplinary Design Thinking
- Advancing Models for Effective Campus/Industry Partnerships
Each Institute team will receive guidance from mentors from both higher education and industry to ensure projects are developed with a breadth of cutting-edge expertise, academic rigor, and practical strategies for implementation.
