Webinar: Making Friends with Your Campus General Counsel as Essential Partner in Voter Engagement Work – Oct 13

Posted by Campus Vote Project on October 6, 2026

In this dizzyingly changing environment of nonpartisan student voting, campus professionals can often feel overwhelmed with making sure students have accurate, timely information about registering and turning out to vote. Many campuses forget to engage an important campus partner in this work – the general counsel’s office. While they might not be a part of your coalition directly, their guidance can be invaluable in navigating the current climate.

This session will focus on the benefits that these partnerships can bring leading into this election cycle. We will be joined by Douglas Park, deputy general counsel at the University of Oregon for this important discussion. Voter Friendly Campus (VFC) would like to thank the National Association of College and University Attorneys for their partnership on this event.

Date and Time: October 13, 2:00-3:00 PM

Register.
