Kessler Foundation Invites Applications for Signature Employment Grants Program
The Kessler Foundation drives positive change for people with disabilities by conducting groundbreaking rehabilitation and disability employment research and funding innovative initiatives to provide access to job opportunities.
To that end, the foundation is inviting applications for its Signature Employment Grants, which will award grants of up to $250,000 per year for up to two years in support of pilot initiatives or demonstration projects for models that increase employment for individuals with disabilities. The foundation has a special interest in projects that address the intersection of race, class, gender, disability, and poverty within the framework of helping individuals with disabilities obtain employment or re-enter the job market following injury. Partnerships across sectors, such as public/private collaborations with economic development organizations, banks, and municipalities are particularly of interest.
To be eligible, applicant organizations must be tax-exempt as defined by the Internal Revenue Code, including nonprofit agencies, public or private schools, and public institutions, such as universities and governmental entities (state, local, federal) based in the United States or any of its territories.
Grant concepts are due February 22, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Kessler Foundation website.
Deadline: February 22, 2022 5:00 pm ET (Grant Concept)
