Jr. STEM Academy: Minority Men in Medicine Virtual Career Awareness Event – Oct 8
Posted by Community College of P on October 5, 2021
Discover opportunities that await you. At the virtual Minority Men in Medicine event, you’ll hear medical doctors talk about their professions and their career paths. Ask questions, see the labs and offices where they work, and see how your interests may fit the world of medicine.
Minority males make up less than 7 percent of all physicians in the United States, with African American and Latino medical school applications declining each year. This session seeks to raise your awareness about the exciting and in-demand careers in the medical field.
Date and Time: Friday, October 8, 2021, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Question regarding individual or group registrations, please contact Stephanie Austin-Johnson – sdjohnson@ccp.edu
