American Hospital Association Invites Applications for Quest for Quality Prize
The American Hospital Association (AHA) represents and serves nearly five thousand hospitals, healthcare systems, networks, and other providers of care and forty-three thousand individual members.
AHA is inviting applications for its Quest for Quality Prize, which is presented annually to recognize hospitals and health systems that have demonstrated organization-wide commitment to and participation in improving quality and safety, innovating to improve care, addressing disparities, and working with other community organizations and agencies to improve health status.
Hospitals and health systems that are encouraged to apply include those committed to advancing health by providing access to exceptional quality, safe, and patient- and family-centered care that promotes individual and community well-being; partnering with other community organizations and agencies to improve the health status of their communities and address disparities; developing new models of care, services, and collaboration to provide seamless care; and partnering with patients and families to design the patient care experience and engage them fully in their health.
All health systems and hospitals in the United States are eligible to apply, though note the health system application is different from the hospital application. The AHA asks that applicants be sure they’re using the appropriate application.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the American Hospital Association website.
Deadline: October 15, 2021
