The COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges for school districts, with distance learning being the most obvious. But COVID-19 will also create financial difficulties for all school districts. These revenue challenges will change the way administrators craft budgets for the 2020-21 school year and beyond. Please join us for a “Lunch & Learn” webinar next Wednesday, May 6 at noon with Hannah Barrick and Jay Himes from the PA Association of School Business Officials (PASBO). PASBO just released projections on the drop in local revenues that school districts across the state will experience in the upcoming budget year. Hannah and Jay will explain their projections and the implications for schools and students.
