Caring for Friends (https://caringforfriends.org/) is an organization that provides food boxes and meals to folks in the greater Philadelphia area. Their volunteer numbers are down with everything going on. AmeriCorps Volunteer Opportunity
Caring for Friends welcomes AmeriCorps volunteers whose host offices have been closed due to the coronavirus.
Site hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday & 10:00am -2:00 pm Saturday

Currently we have the most need in our warehouse managing volunteer groups, food sorting and stocking and working directly with our Executive Chairman to ensure that warehouse operations are running smoothly.

Onsite Supervisor – Lisa Locante, Office Manager (timesheets, incident reports, and general inquiries)
Off-site AmeriCorps Administrator – Jeannette Fournier, Executive Director (AmeriCorps administration, general point of contact, incident reports, questions)
