Learn to Love Program Evaluation – Jan 25
Posted by La Salle Nonprofit Center on January 8, 2019
When the question is ask, how do we know this program is working, the answer can’t be. “I just know it is.” We have to be able to prove it.
How many times have you gone back to the drawing board on this one, trying to create program evaluations that don’t eat up resources, but accurately measure.
“Learn to Love Program Evaluation” enables you to understand, verify or increase the impact of your services, demonstrating outcomes. The process forces us to move beyond our instincts, or anecdotal information, or educated guesses to know what clients really need, whether we are providing that and whether our resources are being directed effectively. With evaluation and the accurate data it provides, we can improve our delivery systems and become more efficient, as we identify strengths and weaknesses.
This class provides an overview of program evaluation tools, including a step-by-step model, as you engage in focused dialogue about concrete ways to assess your programs. You will leave with proven tools, approaches, techniques, and ideas that are customizable to the evaluation of a wide range of programs within your organization.
When: January 25, 2019, 9 am to 4 pm
