Initiative to pilot use of technology projects in adult education
Starting in Fall 2018, the Office of Adult Education (OAE) will launch a new initiative funded by The Barra Foundation.
Practitioners from selected provider agencies will join a team. Each team will pilot new strategies to use technology in adult education settings. This could include trying new websites or apps to improve academic skills, online communication platforms to improve retention, and more! Funding is available for those who are selected to participate.
At the close of this three-year grant, OAE will compile the resources and lessons learned by the participating organizations. The information gathered from this project will be the basis of a toolkit that will be shared with the Philadelphia adult education community.
Apply here by August 6th.
