Volunteers needed for 4th Annual Youth Peace Olympics

The Youth Peace Olympics (YPO) in North Philadelphia on July 28th is dedicated to helping young people ages 10 to 16 bring home a championship by taking part in sports, art, drama, music and coaching geared toward enriching, healthy living and curbing violence.
There are three training sessions on conflict resolution, peace, non-violence and character building that take place in the summer leading up to the YPO games.The focus of these training sessions is on growth in spiritual and character development to foster a sense of connection and participation in family and community.
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, training facilitation, set up, break down, food service, and monitoring children.
