Transition Network seeks agencies that serve women and children
The Giving Circle of the Philadelphia Chapter of The Transition Network — a donor advised fund of The Philadelphia Foundation — is pleased to announce that it is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations serving the needs of women and children in the Greater Philadelphia area. A single grant of up to $20,000 will be awarded to one organization. The deadline to apply is March 2.
Proposals should request support for an innovative program to develop or enhance a collaboration with at least one other nonprofit organization to advance the well-being of women or children.
The Transition Network (TTN) is a national organization of professional women aged 50 and forward who seek to continue a life of learning, engagement and leadership in the world.
Applicant organizations must be located in the Greater Philadelphia area. They must have a 501(c)(3) public charity exempt status from the IRS. Any collaborating nonprofit must also be a 501(c)(3) organization and must submit documentation.
Criteria for selection include an innovative approach and the project’s feasibility.

Deadlines
• Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on March 2, 2018.
• The application must include a letter of commitment from the proposed collaborating nonprofit partner.
• Finalists will be contacted in May.
Grant awards will be announced by May 31, 2018.
