Posted by National Liberty Museum on January 22, 2018
Do you know a teacher who deserves special recognition?
This yearly recognition program, sponsored by State Farm®, honors outstanding educators in the Delaware Valley. Educators are recognized in THREE categories:
1. An Exceptional Teacher Award is presented to 9 educators, including one Grand Prize Winner.
2. A Caring Classroom Award is presented to one educator for integrating community service in his or her classroom.
3. A Good Neighbor Award is presented to one educator for promoting driver safety.
The Grand Prize Winner and the two special award winners receive a monetary prize. All winners are honored at a ceremony at the Museum and their stories are featured in a Museum exhibit for an entire year.
