DELAWARE VALLEY FAIRNESS PROJECT
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Delaware Valley Fairness Project serves the needs of under-resourced schools in economically and socially disadvantaged neighborhoods in the greater Philadelphia-Camden region. Our mission is to support schools and their communities to improve educational opportunities for young people living in poverty.
Delaware Valley Fairness Project offers comprehensive school-community relationship services intended to strengthen the school and the community’s support for the school. Through our school-community services, we bring financial and human resources to each school we serve, and, through the school, to its community. We work closely with a school’s leadership, particularly its Principal, to understand a school’s needs – and the needs of the communities that can be met through the school – and assist in securing and coordinating programs that address those needs. We also work closely with the school’s families, neighbors, and partners to strengthen their support for the school by increasing the support they receive from the school. Our goal is to enable the school to provide more and better learning opportunities for its students, and to be viewed as a valued information hub by everyone in its community.
