All the Power Rests with You
For Philadelphia Students ages 12 – 14
Mondays, 6:30-8:00pm
May 8, 15, 22 and June 5 (four sessions)
This workshop will take place at 1501 Christian Street
Explore and unleash the power that resides within you through the magic of language and poetry. Under the direction of Dr. Suzanne Stutman, author of the poetry journal All the Power Rests with You, discover your own unique voice through the magical music of poetry. We will examine and discuss various poems within the text. In addition, you will receive your own copy of All the Power, which will encourage you to write your own poems and stories and to investigate the myths, the symbols, and the metaphors that will expand your awareness of yourself and the world around you.
