The Intersection of Community, Academia, and Grantmaking
This symposium offers training and education on developing, pitching, and funding innovative project ideas that utilize community-academic partnerships. Participants will receive an introduction to the current funding landscape and learn best practices to develop and sustain community-academic partnerships.
This symposium is part of the Community Scholars Training Program, a partnership initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program (RWJCSP) and the Center for Public Health Initiatives (CPHI). As part of the symposium, Community Scholars will pitch their ideas for evidence-based interventions that improve health outcomes. Pitches will be judged by a panel of local funders.
