Research Conference on Education Reform, Communities, and Social Justice: Exploring the Intersections

Registration is now open for the second annual Research Conference on Education Reform, Communities, and Social Justice: Exploring the Intersections.
The conference will take place on Friday, May 19th at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
The conference will showcase two dozen research papers and a lunch plenary that will examine the ways that communities have responded to neoliberal education reforms, focusing in particular on the perspective of parental and civil rights movements. The plenary will feature Leonie Haimson of Class Size Matters, Edwin Mayorga of Swarthmore College, and Lauren Wells of American University, and will be moderated by CUNY Professor Michelle Fine.
Registration is $25 and includes breakfast, lunch, and a wine and cheese reception.
