volunteers needed to just high school business plans
Posted by Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship on February 20, 2017
It is hard to believe! It is that time of the year again – time for our 2017 NFTE Philadelphia Business Plan Competitions. We are excited to announce that we have some new schools participating this year and we will need nearly 50 volunteer judges to help our students as they present out their business plan projects!
Please take a look at our list of schools and the date(s) and time(s) of their Business Plan Competitions. If you have just a few hours to volunteer your time on one of the dates, please take just a few minutes to sign up!
To volunteer, go to: http://volunteer.nfte.com/ and enter a Philadelphia zip code. You’ll see a long list of “classroom competition” opportunities with the appropriate dates and times.
Some notes to consider:
- Each time slot needs 3 judges. If a time slot is full, please consider signing up for another slot.
- All of our schools are within an hour drive of downtown Philadelphia. If you do not have access to a car, we can arrange a ride for you on the day of the competition.
- Any school listed more than once is a school that has multiple NFTE classes. While you are not required to sign up for each time slot, if you are able to sign up for more than one time slot, please do so!
- If your company or organization would like to reserve all three slots (or all competition dates) for a particular school, please email Annie at your earliest convenience!
Once you have signed up, Annie will be in contact with you regarding a brief phone call for competition orientation and other logistics for that business plan competition date.
We are so appreciative of your time and consideration – we couldn’t do this without you!
Contact Annie McGuirk at anne.mcguirk@nfte.com for any questions.
