volunteer judges needed, George Washington Carver Science Fair
Posted by School District of Philadelphia on February 13, 2017
Now in its 38th year, Philadelphia’s George Washington Carver Science Fair is one of the largest urban science fairs in the country. Co-sponsored by the School District of Philadelphia, The Office of Catholic Education, Temple University, and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, the Carver Fair attracts hundreds of middle and high school students who cultivate problem-solving, data-collection and analysis, critical thinking, teamwork, and perseverance.
This year’s Secondary Fair will be held at Temple on Tuesday, March 14, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are seeking judges who are passionate about STEM and STEM education; are interested in networking with other equally motivated professionals; and are committed to supporting Philadelphia’s children and youth;
