Technology and Women: Protection and Peril
“Technology” is an increasingly important topic of conversation in society and, particularly, within the criminal justice system and the specific issue of violence against women (VAW). The goal of this symposium is to create connectivity across content areas and perspectives. We will take an approach that includes offender behavior, effects on victims, criminal justice intervention, and ethical issues related to technology and VAW.
The opening and closing sessions are free and open to the public. A short panel and discussion with the opportunity for Q&A will follow each. Space is limited, however, so registration is required.
