Citizens’ First Vote Celebration
Posted by Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians on October 17, 2016
Citizens’ First Vote is a celebration of newly naturalized citizens’ first trip to the polls on Election Day to cast a ballot! Participants, their friends, and families are invited to enjoy a buffet and live music at the Mayor’s Reception Room, Philadelphia City Hall.
First-time voters are encouraged to share stories of their first American electoral experience and why they voted on April 26th, or why they intend to vote on November 8th.
Are you a naturalized citizen voting for the first time, or do you know someone who is? Share the event with your family and friends and join us!
