Sayre Health Center 5th Annual Health Fair

This is more than a health fair, this is a fun-filled event paired with entertainment and awareness
Sayre Health Center is excited to announce our 5th annual health fair on April 9, 2016 11pm-2pm. The health fair will be held at Sayre Health Center located 5800 Walnut street rear Philadelphia, PA 19139. Our mission is to provide the West Philadelphia community surrounding Sayre Health Center with activities, entertainment, awareness, and services focusing on disparities in health care for this neighborhood. We will have over 30 participants sharing information about services that will benefit the whole family. On April 9th participants representing mental health, safety, finances, prevention, seniors, mother and children health, nutrition and fitness, men’s health, and advocacy. There are activities for kids too! Jazzy the Clown DJ and a Carol center of dance performance, a moon bounce and face painting fun for kids! So much to see and do! It will be a great time for the whole family.
Preventative Screenings is vital to health. Sayre Health Center will also partner with Penn Dental, Scheie Eye Institute Sight Savers, Philadelphia FIGHT, and University of Sciences Pharmacy students to offer free health screenings. This is also an opportunity for attendees of the health fair to become acquainted with health services offered at Sayre Health center.
