Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Issues RFP for Health Equity Projects

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is seeking preliminary proposals for projects, programs, and models that promote health equity and are aligned with its Culture of Health Action Framework.

Grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 over eighteen months will be awarded to projects or programs that build healthy places; build social connection across the lifespan; get and keep children healthy; and/or increase the healthcare system’s focus on the root causes of poor health. Priority will be given to approaches that have demonstrated impact but have not been widely tested or implemented in the United States.

Applicants can represent organizations from a wide range of fields and disciplines — both within and outside the health sector. Proposals are encouraged from both U.S.-based applicants with ideas for adapting an overseas model and international applicants with ideas that could work in the United States.

The foundation will be hosting an informational webinar for prospective applicants on March 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EST). Registration is required.
