Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc., a dynamic nonprofit, is currently seeking a full-time an Adult Education Case Manager Coordinator to work within its Education and Workforce Services division. This position is responsible for supporting the Manager of Case Management and Employment with operating the Employment Pathway, and supporting the Next Step Program and the E3 Center by preparing students for long-term placement. The Adult Education Employment Coordinator role is also responsible for the supervision of E3 JRT Coach and Next Step industry credential specialist in both the E3 Center and Next Step Programs. This position requires both time spent facilitating workshops on job readiness, as well as individual support with helping clients make tangible progress toward their long-term goals for employment. The Adult Education Employment Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating the Adult Education internship process.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing daily employment pathway efforts through the supervision of E3 JRT Coach and Next Step Industry Credential Specialist.
Responsible for delivering Job Readiness training classes
Serve as a Transitions Coach for students that are pursuing post-secondary placement in employment, including goal setting and completion of tangible action-items necessary for securing long-term placement
Assist Manager of Case Management and Employment with overseeing the Employment Pathway, including support with coordinating the Adult Education internship process, administering relevant assessments, curriculum development, and liaising with external partners
Responsible for data entry, filing, and any reporting necessary to manage the Employment Pathway
Attend staff meetings as required and report on student progress
Participate in the formulation of Next Step Program and E3 Center long-range goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or in a related Social Science field required (Associate’s Degree with significant years of work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree)
1-2 years of work experience providing direct services to youth and/or community members
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Supervisory experience
