The School District of Philadelphia, the George Washington Carver Science Fair, and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

invite you to a FREE workshop – November 21 or November 23

These sessions designed for classroom teachers, informal science educators, parent sponsors and anyone interested in teaching or learning about student science research. Presenters will review the purpose of completing inquiry-based science research projects. They will also help prepare educators for the citywide George Washington Carver Science Fair, which will take place in February and March 2016, and is open to all 4th-12th graders who attend ANY school (or are home-schooled) in Philadelphia.

The How-To’s of Student Science Research will take place on Saturday, November 21, from 9 AM to 12 PM; and on Monday, November 23, from 6-8 PM (2 identical sessions). Workshops will be held at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, at 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and will be facilitated by Tienne Myers.
