The State of Philly Schools
Posted by Repair the World on March 23, 2015
March 24 – REPAIRtalk
6 – 8 pm
RTW Workshop – 4029 Market Street
Are you interested in learning more about the Philadelphia school system? Join us for an education justice-filled evening at REPAIRtalk, as we discuss the state of Philly schools from three very distinct angles–all in the style of the wildly-popular and informative TEDtalks. We will be featuring three guest speakers–among those will be a former Philadelphia public school student who works for an education-focused non-profit, and current YouthBuild students and teacher who break the mold of traditional education! Register now to reserve your spot, as space is very limited! Check out the event on Facebook at http://bit.ly/REPAIRtalkFB!
Please bring new pens, pencils, and/or notebooks to be donated to the students at SquashSmarts, an after school athletic and mentoring program!
