FUMCOG supports community programs
The First United Methodist Church of Germantown (FUMCOG) is seeking to fund proposals from the community.
All proposals are welcome. Funds will be provided through a special Christmas offering and will be divided among the selected programs. Selection criteria include size of population that will be served, nature of services and expected benefits to the community.
Funds from the Easter service this spring were used to expand urban gardens, assist a local homelessness program, support a special PTA program and help a local Boy Scout troop.
Applications must be dropped of at FUMCOG, 6001 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, by Friday, November 21st. Recipients will be notified of their selection by December 15th.
For more information, visit FUMCOG’s website here.
