Depaul USA is the US affiliate of an international organization that supports homeless and marginalized people around the world. Depaul USA operates 7 projects in 4 cities which fill gaps in services to homeless individuals. Projects include a day/resource center, rapid rehousing project, transitional housing and permanent supportive housing. All services at Depaul are offered in a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally-competent and client-centered environment.
Depaul House
At Depaul House in Germantown, we provide a home to 27 men experiencing homelessness, while working with them to secure meaningful employment and supporting them towards successful integration with the community.
Position Description
The Job Developer will work as part of the case management team seeking employment opportunities for clients to include placement, retention, and career advancement services. Depaul USA is looking for a dynamic person who will actively recruits companies to develop jobs for clients and maintains collaborative relationships with employers to assess current placements and cultivate new job opportunities. This position must meet individual placement and job development goals in line with contractual requirements. The Job Developer must verify and retain client placements at 30, 90, 120, and 180 days, and maintain a database on all job referrals and client placement activities. The Job Developer may instruct clients on resume writing and other job readiness skills including interviewing and job search techniques.
