Service Magazine (<a href="http://www.service-magazine.com">http://www.service-magazine.com</a>) is a student-run publication that "appeals to community-conscious students." The magazine is offering a cash prize for the best article submitted by a student, by January 1st. The winner will receive $350, while the runner-up will receive $150.
"Our articles range from chronicles of community-service activities to philosophical reflections on community issues."
To submit an article, or to learn more, please contact Editor-in-Chief Monica Park at contest@service-magazine.com. Please note that the cash prizes are valid only if the magazine receives twenty-five or more articles by January 1, 2003, and that all submitted articles are eligible to be posted on the Service Magazine website.
