Website Development and Outreach
10 weeks, 30 hours/week
The Philadelphia Public School Notebook is seeking a summer intern to support the development of our quarterly newspaper?s website.
The Notebook is an information source and a voice for parents, students, teachers, and others at the grassroots level who are working to improve Philadelphia public schools. Our mission is to promote informed public involvement in the Philadelphia public schools and contribute to the development of a strong movement for educational quality and equity.
The intern will research and develop content for the website and lead workshops that will introduce the site to members of local education activist groups and other community members. We are seeking someone with a knowledge of and passion about urban education issues, effective interviewing and research skills, and experience in website development. A small stipend will be provided.
