Director, St. Mary’s Cooperative Nursery School

St Mary’s Cooperative Nursery School seeks an experienced director. St Mary’s is open year round and has been a strong early childhood educational presence in University City for 35 years. We serve children ages 18 months to 5 years. This not-for-profit school is child centered, non-sectarian, multi-cultural, age integrated, inclusive, and maintains a strong parental involvement.

We are seeking a director to continue to foster the values and philosophy that makes St Mary’s Nursery School unique. Responsibilities will include overall program planning, working with a team of teachers, staff recruitment and supervision, monthly board meetings, and coordination and execution of daily tasks.

A Bachelors degree is required; Masters degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience with children required, with at least 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, or elementary education.
