Do you have an idea for a project that will help improve the condition of the youth in Philadelphia but lack the resources to make your idea reality?

YOUTHadelphia can help!

What is YOUTHadelphia?

YOUTHadelphia is the Youth Advisory Committee of the Fund for Children at The Philadelphia Foundation. The mission of YOUTHadelphia is to give Philadelphia teens opportunities to build youth power by being in control of giving back to their communities through funding youth-led projects.

YOUTHadelphia and You!

Since YOUTHadelphia?s ability to build youth power is dependent on the funding of youth-led projects, we need your help in order to make our mission possible. In the end, the Philadelphia youth community benefits from our actions. In order to get the cycle started and your idea off the ground, fill out the enclosed grant application. If your ideas complement our focus and mission we may be able to fund your project!

Attached are application guidelines for YOUTHadelphia. YOUTHadelphia accepts requests at anytime (see guidelines for more explanation).

Requests for under $1,000 that are received by October 29th will be notified of a decision by November 26th. Requests that are received by November 19th will be notified of a decision by December 17th.

Larger requests for funding that are received by October 29th will be notified if a full proposal will be requested by November 12th. Organizations and youth groups will be notified of funding decisions on these requests by December 31st.
