Environmental Support Center Offers Capacity-Building Program for Grassroots Groups
Deadline: September 2
The Environmental Support Center Leadership and Enhanced Assistance Program (LEAP) annually provides six grassroots environmental groups with support and funding to undergo intensive, sustainable changes through capacity building. LEAP will focus on the southeastern U.S. in 2003 as part of a new ESC initiative, Strengthening Organizations and Leaders for the Environment-Southeast (SOLE-SE). ESC expects to select the majority of LEAP participants from the region, but will also consider including one to two participants from other regions of the U.S.
