Here is your chance to step back from your daily negotiations and look at how you might improve your skills—and your outcomes! You will learn about the structure of typical negotiations, and practice several concepts and techniques, such as setting goals, asking effective questions, uncovering interests, saying no and making offers.
Owner of a small consulting business for 11 years and a longtime mediator for CFR, Jennifer Beer has taught a Negotiation Course for the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business since 2001. She offers new perspectives that can help you fine tune your approach to negotiation. Negotiation skills are a core competence for any professional, which have an immediate impact on the work environment, productivity, and bottom line of your organization. Negotiation skills in this respect include:
