Video screening and discussion about standardized testing (April 8)
Standardized tests have more and more influence over our children’s schools — but are students learning more?
The Philadelphia Public School Notebook invites you to join us for a video screening and discussion of The Merrow Report’s Testing Our Schools, a PBS report that examines how standardized testing is reshaping American education, and what it means for students, teachers, and schools.
Please join us to share your experiences, to learn from others, and to keep the discussion going!
When: Tuesday, April 8, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Community College of Philadelphia, Bonnell Building, Room BG-16. (The Bonnell Building is located on 17th St. just South of Spring Garden.)
RSVP to Amy Rhodes, 215-951-0330, x160.
