GMOs and The Global Food System: The Looming Challenges and the Role of Science
Delaware Valley Society for Nutrition Education a local non-profit that is committed to the promotion of good nutrition is hosting Dr Terry Etherton, a Distinguished Professor from Penn State University to discuss the topic of genetically modified foods (GMOs). He will review the scientific basis for the development and implementation of food biotechnologies and what that means for consumers. He is an accomplished scientist who has published more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and presented at more than 190 seminars, and has received many awards for his research.

Evening includes networking, presentation, light dinner, and discussion.
