Greetings! We are excited to announce that the Technology Learning Collaborative is having its first conference, and you’re invited!
This is a free conference and discussion on how technology intersects with critical areas identified in the City of Philadelphia’s anti-poverty initiative, Shared Prosperity: Jobs and Training, Access to Benefits, Early Learning, Housing Security and Economic Security.
http://sharedprosperityphila.org/
28% of Philadelphians are living in poverty.
30% of Philadelphians are not connected to the Internet.
If you are interested in discussing how technology plays a role in educational, workforce, and anti-poverty efforts, then attend this conference! Plenary speakers to be announced shortly.
TLC is Philadelphia’s first professional organization for digital literacy training professionals. It is an outgrowth of KEYSPOT: Powered by the Freedom Rings Partnership, a citywide program to bring internet access, training and technology to Philadelphia communities. To date, Philadelphians have made more than 300,000 visits to more than 80 KEYSPOT computer labs for free digital training and computer access.
To register, sign up for a free TLC membership and register for the conference above or at http://www.tlcphilly.org.
We hope you can make it!
Cheers,
Technology Learning Collaborative
