Share your MLK Day Stories with Social Media

Would you or others in your organization like to share your MLK Day story with a national audience via social media? If you Tweet, post to Facebook, or take digital photos, you can help tell the national MLK Day story by sharing information about your MLK Day projects. Attached please find a document called Telling Your MLK Day Story via Social Media. The document includes:
· tips on Telling Your Story in words or photos via social media
· information on sharing the MLK Day story using Facebook and Twitter
· information on sharing photos
· instructions (if needed) on setting up a social media account and a mobile phone
You can begin now by Tweeting or posting information about your MLK Day plans and on MLK Day, you can share up-to-the-minute information and photos your project.
By sharing information and photos via social media for MLK Day, you will help create a snapshot of the great service that goes on across the country on MLK Day and throughout the year.
