Examining Interconnected Health Inequities Through Global Reporting

We are highlighting 12 educators from around the United States who participated in the Fall 2025 Pulitzer Center Teacher Fellowship program to create lesson plans that engage students with health reporting from around the world.
Representing 12 states, and working with students from fifth to 12th grade, these Fellows used global health stories as the building blocks for lessons that encourage students to engage in issue-focused discussions, design awareness campaigns and presentations, and write reflective essays, op-eds, letters, and documentary poems.
Each of these lesson plans can be downloaded to use in your own class or program, and include resources, education standards, and examples of student work.
