New Monthly Fundraising Workshop: “Dollars Making Sense”

This is the first meeting of the new monthly Meet Up group, “Dollars Making Sense,” sponsored by The EHL Consulting Group and hosted at Indy Hall.

Staff, board members, executive leaders, and volunteers of nonprofit organizations are welcome to attend this free, discussion-based workshop on strategies for donor research, identification, cultivation, and stewardship.

The event features a Q&A with Avrum D. Lapin, Senior Partner at The EHL Consulting Group, and the discussion will be moderated by EHL’s Director of Communications, J. Lansing Sylvia.

As part of the event, registrants will be sent the free white paper, “You Had Me At Hello: Donor Research and Cultivation for Nonprofit Organizations.” Attendees will review and discuss this paper at the workshop, as well as new tips and best practices for donor communication.

Topics for the workshop will cover a range of advanced donor development strategies, and include:

Donor Research and Identification: Understanding online resources and database management.
Donor Cultivation: Hosting focus groups, learning about interests, and creating connections.
Best Practices for Face-to-Face Meetings: How to get to know new donors via in-person meetings.
