US Airways Education Foundation Invites Applications for Community Education Grant Program

The US Airways Education Foundation is accepting grant applicants for its 2012 Community Education Grant Program.
The foundation, which provides college scholarships to dependents of US Airways employees and education grants to nonprofits, will award multiple grants of $10,000 to nonprofit organizations in the airline’s hub cities of Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Phoenix, as well as in its focus city of Washington, D.C.
To be eligible, applicant organizations must serve children 18 years of age and younger through educational programs that focus on learning and academic achievement for economically disadvantaged or developmentally disabled children and programs that increase student interest and academic achievement in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
