Impact 100 offers $242k to area nonprofits
Impact100 Philadelphia will award $242,000 to Philadelphia-area charitable organizations in June 2012. For the first time since its inception, Impact100 will award two high-impact grants of $100,000 each as well as three general operating grants totaling $42,000. Grants will be awarded to qualifying nonprofit organizations in five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family, and Health & Wellness.
The two-step grant process begins with an initial Letter of Inquiry due January 9th. Interested 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations should visit the grant applicant section of the organization’s website to review eligibility requirements and to download application materials.
Impact100 Philadelphia, a collective giving organization, provides high-impact grants that reach under-served populations, raise the profile of deserving but lesser known organizations, and highlight unmet needs in the region. Founded in 2008, Impact100 has awarded $414,000 to nine nonprofits in the Greater Philadelphia region.
