Web demonstration: Community Connections Asset Mapping Process

I wish to highlight an opportunity for you to interactively examine—from the comfort of your own office or meeting room–an outstanding software tool, CCAMP (Community Connections Asset Mapping Process). Now community teams of all types can identify, organize, mobilize and sustain a wealth of local individual and organizational resources to address their priorities for youth, families, neighborhoods and the greater community using CCAMP, a resource-bank database located on the internet.

CCAMP is a dynamic technological boost to community leadership for all sectors and in any geographic setting. In New York, Connecticut and Maryland the software is being used to support youth initiatives.  In Minneapolis, CCAMP is assisting with neighborhood renewal and in Maine it supports foster children programs. Recently several New England groups are working with us to assess CCAMP’s potential to promote community inclusion for people with disabilities. These are just a few examples of the diverse applications of this software resource.
