RFP for year-round youth work programs released
The Philadelphia Council for College and Career Success has released a request for proposals to allocate Workforce Investment Act funds for contracts that will begin September 1, 2011.
These funds will support year-round programming for out-of-school youth from Philadelphia. The RFP seeks qualified, committed and innovative organizations to develop and implement a youth placement, occupational skills training, and GED to college model.
There will be a Bidders’ Conference on Wednesday, April 6th at the Philadelphia Youth Network, 714 Market Street, Wade Blank Conference Room, 5th Floor, in Philadelphia, from 3-5pm. Participants are encouraged to pre-register for the meeting by completing the form on PYN’s website) under the Out-of-School Youth RFP posting.
