Philadelphia Book Festival takes over the Parkway on April 16th
On Saturday, April 16th, the Free Library of Philadelphia has planned a day full of free events and programming for families and children to close the week-long Philadelphia Book Festival that begins on April 10th.
The day’s events include the annual Storybook Parade hosted by 6ABC’s Tamala Edwards and featuring fan favorites like Toot and Puddle, Corduroy Bear, the Berenstain Bear family, and Curious George.
In addition, festival highlights include events on the Festival Main Stage, the Franklin Institute’s Traveling Science Show, award-winning authors and illustrators, a special teen zone, and a comics workshop.
